The only thing I think I know for sure
Graphite and colored pencil on paper in walnut frames
The only thing I think I know for sure tracks the sunrise and sunset times in four places I've called home. Through these drawings, I attempted to locate myself by comparing a seemingly constant factor: the rise and fall of the sun. In an uncertain political climate worldwide, this work is also a somewhat desperate attempt to find a stable condition as a source for hope. This investigation has opened up broader questions for me about place, home, affect, imagined futures, systems of time, and patterns of movement on a personal and global scale.
